The park is filled with big-tusked elephants, and Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa's highestmountain (5895m), looms over Amboseli. This combination makes for some fantastic photos,especially when the clouds clear over the summit as they do most days around sunrise and sunset. You also have a good chance of seeing lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes (out in the park's east), wildebeests and plenty of gazelles.
